This is an absolutely incredible looking beer dinner. The beers on this list are top notch and hard to find and it looks like a lot of effort was put into making the pairings work really nicely. The dinner is organized by Coaltrain bottle shop and The Blue Star restaurant. Here's the information straight from Coaltrain:

This dinner has been a year in the making. This labor of love will come to fruition on
Wednesday, September 21st at 6:30pm at The Blue Star. We just sat down with the great food and beer minds of The Blue Star and CRGoodman to hash out a beer line up. We think we came up with something pretty special. We then set the chefs of The Blue Star free to do what they do best: create the perfect food pairings to accompany our duos of beer. When you look over the final menu below, you may find it extremely difficult to stop drooling.

My Antonia & Hellhound on my Ale
Sweet to salty antipasto:
melon, pinenut & apricot, stuffed pepper, pancetta mushroom, prosciutto wrapped grissini

Course 2
Chateau Jiahu & Red and White
Reisling braised veal cheeks w/ caramelized pear & fennel, herb salad
Tuna cigars, burnt orange pinot sauce, daikon, carrot

Intermezzo
Sahtea shooter w/ pappadam crisp, spiced yogurt, mango chutney, coriander

Course 3
Black and Blue & Fort (Vintage 2008)
Berry lacquered pork belly w/ sweet potato pancake, fresh fig
Duck confit lasagna w/ super berries, shredded chard, whipped brie

Course 4
Theobroma & Poppa Skull
Chocolate polenta cake, bittersweet ganache, cocoa malt ice cream,
Mexican chocolate anglaise, candied chili
Spiced shortbread, burnt orange blackberries, caramel streusel, basil frozen custard
