Focus on the Beer was founded in 2010

as a blog devoted to craft beer in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado, we concentrate on Colorado Springs, but also include coverage of Manitou, Monument, Pueblo, Woodland Park and other nearby towns.

We have since grown to cover craft beer in general, with a major focus on what's around us, but not limited by geographical borders.

  • We are dedicated to covering breweries that help make Colorado and the United States a better place for consumers to enjoy craft beer. We champion breweries who are brewing consistent, high quality beer and who strive to forge lasting relationships with their local community and consumers.

    We try to be positive in our coverage unless there is a situation that warrants otherwise.

  • Nope, we are a beer blog and podcast, not an actual brewery. If you’re looking for a good place to find a brewery near you, check out the Colorado Brewers Guild or our brewery page.
