Thank you Jon Boling / A Jon Boling Memorial Bike Ride Tonight

We would like to express our condolences to the Boling family after the sudden and tragic accident that took Jon Boling's life nearly a week ago. Jon, known simply as JB to many, was a craft beer rep in the Colorado Springs area, was a very kind and gentle-hearted man, loved good beer, and loved rafting. On Sunday, June 3rd, JB set out in a group down the Salmon River and shortly afterwards there was an accident. He wasn't in the 38 degree water long but party members were not able to revive him. JB was 34 and left a wife and family. JB thank you for your service in the beer industry and for the recent memories.

There is a JB Memorial Bike Ride tonight at McCabe's tavern, starting at 6pm. People will hang out there for a while, then ride over to Front Range BBQ for more of the same. There will be donated beer from New Belgium, Left Hand, Ska Brewing and Avery. All proceeds from the purchase of these items will go to Jon Boling's Memorial Fund. The Memorial Ride is public.
