Hopefully many of you headed out to Salida for the Brewer's Rendezvous. Here's a photo recap of the event.
Jason Yester from Trinity Brewing being Jason Yester. Nice shirt.
Trinity brought a delicious cucumber saison |
Salida's own Amicas Brewery |
The always popular Three Barrel Brewing from Del Norte brought a few tasty sours. Some of the best beers at the festival. |
John Bricker, owner of Three Barrel, on the right talking with Xandy from Elevation. Will (left) is also a brewer for Three Barrel. |
Upslope only brought a six pack of their Belgian Style Pale Ale, one of my favorite beers this year. |
Jason Wiedmaier and John Winter of Lone Tree Brewing Company. The Hoptree IIPA was fantastic. Jason is scheduled to come to our next Meet the Brewer event. Don't miss this one! |
Elevation Beer Company was at hand. I went to the brewery in Pancho Springs the night before and was very impressed with all their beers. They also graciously gave the homebrew clubs who were camping nearby a keg of Apis IV on Friday night. It didn't last very long! |
Andy Jessen of Bonfire Brewing getting his stand ready for the festival. They have some of the coolest growlers in Colorado. |
Danny Wang and Betty from Caution Brewing. |
Caution is using some creative ingredients including wild rice from Minnesota in their blond ale. |
Some great cask beer from Colorado Boy Brewery in Ridgway, CO |
Adam Draeger, head brewer at Yak and Yeti, bringing a German flare to the festival. |
Brew Brothers of Pikes Peak, the Colorado Springs homebrew club, wearing this year's theme of side burns and tie dye shirts. Our friend, Oren, took it to a whole new level. |
Nick also had an interesting outfit. |
Chris Wright of Pikes Peak made an amazing belgian IPA randalized with Citra hops. |
Every year these guys wear different themed clothes to the festival. Cobra Kai strikes first, strikes hard, and has no mercy for yellow fizzy beer drinkers! |
One of the most interesting brewery names from Ouray, CO |
Eddyline always serving their cans from their trusty kayak |
Dolores River Brewery from Dolores CO |
And then this happened. |
Tim Myers from Strange always ready to talk beer with people in line. |
Oskar Blues had the designated drivers covered with their canned root beer |
The folks at Telluride Brewing Company serving their newly canned Bridal Veil Rye Pale Ale |
