Beers Made By Walking featured in Draft!

We are very proud to report that Beers Made By Walking was featured in the most recent issue of Draft Magazine! Check out the full article, which is now available online.

If you're unaware, BMBW is a program that Eric started last year in Colorado Springs where he invites brewers to go on nature walks and make beer inspired by the edible and medicinal plants found along the trail. Last year there were seven public hikes, each led by a naturalist/botanist and eight beers were served.

This year, for the Colorado Springs chapter, we shortened the number of hikes down to one, and we already did that hike up at Palmer Lake. This Saturday a number of the brewers will be brewing their BMBW beers at Pikes Peak Brewing in Monument and the beers will be served at a special tapping on September 22nd at Pikes Peak Brewing. More info on that will be available soon!
