Free Taxi Rides For Halloween This Weekend

I received an email about the Safe & Sober program that gives out free taxi rides to folks who need it during Halloween. I figured that even though this isn't promoting regional craft beer, it's a really great service and you all should know about it. Read all the rules below, you have to mention a certain name to get the free ride, and because Halloween is on a weekday, this program is only for certain hours this weekend:

Continuing its tradition of helping keep everyone on the roads safe, McDivitt Law Firm will be offering its Halloween Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Pueblo West.

The program has typically been held on October 31, but because Halloween is on a weeknight this year, the program is being held the weekend before Halloween to provide even more safe rides home to those celebrating the holiday. The program will be available from 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, through 3 a.m., Sunday, October 28, 2012.

Too Much Witches’ Brew? Get a Safe Ride Home! For a free ride home, call one of the following cab companies and tell them your ride home is on McDivitt Law Firm:

· Colorado Springs
Call Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs at (719) 777-7777.

· Pueblo & Pueblo West
Call City Cab of Pueblo at (719) 543-2525.

The Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program is for adults who have been drinking or who don’t have a safe way home. Rides are provided to an individual’s residence—not to other drinking locations. Due to the high number of ride requests on Halloween, rides cannot be guaranteed for everyone who calls; however, every attempt will be made to accommodate all requests. Patrons must remove masks or other facial coverings, and drivers have the right to use their discretion when accepting fares. Patrons are reminded to tip their drivers accordingly.
