Pikes Peak Brewing Rolls Out Monument Beer Week 2012
Now in it's second year, Monument Beer Week is more expansive, ambitious, and comprehensive than ever before. The dates are set for Sat. Oct. 22 to Sat. Oct. 27th. There will be plenty of great events, and we'll be sure to post more details when we have them. For now, begin penning in events on your calendars, here's the list:
Saturday 10/20 / 6pm
Beer Dinner at Rudy’s Roadhouse
Call Rudy’s to make your reservations at 719.495.8238. Rudy’s Roadhouse is located at 6750 Shoup Road in Black Forest.

Monday 10/22 / 6pm:
Grand Opening of the Barrel Room – PPBC
Pikes Peak Brewing introduces their new tasting room called “The Barrel Room.” To debut our new digs, they will offer a special tasting of rare and unique barrel aged beers from around the world. No reservations needed. Check back for an updated listing of the beers.
Tuesday 10/23 / 7-9pm
Ladies Only Beer & Dessert Pairing – PPBC
Bring your girlfriends and sample four sumptuous desserts paired with a variety of PPBC beers including the special Cranberry Apple Saison “Beer 4 Boobies” brewed by the ladies of PPBC! That evening, you will also be treated to a private tour of our newly expanded brewing facility and learn about our beer-making process. Proceeds from this event go to Breast Cancer research.

Paradox Beer Company’s Grand Release – PPBC
Paradox official release party. Come try all of their beers. All are barrel aged. No reservations are required.

Brewers of the Front Range – PPBC
Come enjoy beers created by brewers in the Pikes Peak Area.
Saturday 10/27/12:
Oktoberfest at PPBC
A traditional Oktoberfest dinner complete with a tapping of the Oktoberfest beer and traditional German oompa band. Two seatings: 5:30-7pm and 7:30-9pm. $22.50 per plate, includes:
*Schnitzel, Spaetzle and Rahmsauce
*1 Nuernberger Brat and Sauerkraut
*German potato salad
*1 Broetchen (Partywheel)
*1 Apfelstrudel with Vanillasauce
An Oktoberfest beer in a commemorative, traditional German 0.5l Maßkrug (or stein) that is yours to keep.
