Thurs. Aug. 8th

Meet the Brewer: Renegade Brewing / 7pm
At Front Range BBQ / 2330 W. Colorado Ave
We're very happy to bring Renegade Brewing to Colorado Springs to introduce you all to this relatively new Denver brewery. They like to create big, fun, and crazy beers that don't conform to style guidelines. In less than two short years, Renegade has made a big hit in Denver, and they've already opened up a second public house. The beers we'll see on August 8th at Front Range BBQ will be a pretty radical display of what Renegade is capable of, with a Russian Imperial Stout, an 11.2% 3IPA an easy drinking 5% Blonde Ale and more! More details here.

Fri. Aug 9th

Chardonnay Barrel Aged Saison Man Release Party / 5pm
At Trinity Brewing / 1466 Garden of the Gods Rd.
This long anticipated golden Belgian Ale is a 'Post Industrial Session Saison', brewed with Weyerman pilsen, rye, flaked wheat, flaked oats, spelt, and grains of paradise. We hopped this beer with Styrian Goldings and Czech Saaz to create a bitter and dry profile, then fermented this recipe with two farmhouse yeast strains and Drie Bretta to create spicy and light barnyard notes. 4.9 % ABV.

Sat. Aug 10th

Craft Lager Festival / 11am-8pm
Memorial Park, Manitou Springs
The Craft Lager and Small Batch Festival is a fun festival in the scenic town of Manitou Springs. The festival contains craft lager beers from over 50 breweries around the country AND it has small batch craft liquor from Colorado distillers. There are two sessions: 11am-3pm and 4-8pm. Tickets are $30 per session or $40 for an all day pass, and you can purchase them here. See our fun photo recap from our visit to the Craft Lager Fest here.

***Rocket In My Beer? / 2-6pm
Space Foundation Discovery Center / 4425 Arrowswest Dr., Colorado Springs
Don't miss the Space Foundation's grand finale week of its 10-week Summer of Discovery. Come to the Discovery Center in Colorado Springs Aug. 6 - 10 for "A Taste of Space Technology" and find out how space has become an important part of our everyday lives. $24 for a beer tasting from 2-6pm for "Rocket in My Beer?" where you'll learn the connection between beer and space. Brews served from local breweries: Bristol, Colorado Mountain, Great Storm, Paradox, Pikes Peak, Red Leg, Rocky Mountain, and Smiling Toad.

CANCELLED - Pikes Peak Brewing Beer Dinner at Brewer's Republic

Call Brewer's Republic for timing, and to reserve a seat at 719.633.2105. Tickets are $35 for a 5 course meal. Here is a list of courses, and the beers. I've heard nothing but rave reviews of that Berliner Weisse:
