Craft Brewers Conference Day 2 in Photos

We're still working on recovering from the Craft Brewers Conference, but as promised, we looked through all the photos we took, and here are some of the highlights from the seminars and the expo! It was a wonderful experience, and we made some great contacts and talked with so many passionate individuals who love craft beer.Rogue Brewing's Yellow Snow IPA was integral in showing off Spiegelau's IPA glassware. The Spiegelau demonstration was an eye-opener. Glassware can make a good beer taste bad.The clarity of Left Hand Brewing's Polestar pilsner in Spiegelau's lager glassware was amazing.Comparing Spiegelau's glassware to a standard shaker pint glass left our old friend in the dust.CBC2014-10Each attendee for this demonstration walked away with tons of free glassware. Here's what we sat down to. We kept everything but the standard pint glass in the lower left. One extract company had bundles of vanilla beans just sitting there. It smelled amazing!Ska Brewing's offshoot, Ska Fabricating was showing off their depalletizer, which many breweries are adopting. While there were a ton of stainless goodies, the oak stood out as well.I've never seen so many different glass companies with all very similar glassware. This one was giving away bomber glasses!CBC2014-3Craft Malt sensory tasters. From left: Colorado Malting, Grouse Malting, Maltarie Frontenac, Riverbend Malting, Valley Malt, and the control - Simpson Malting (Maris Otter)Joshua Cody of Colorado Malting explaining about their operation. 100% of their barley is grown on their land.
