Red Leg Brewing's First: Flight of the Screaming Eagle

It's only fitting that on our nation's birthday, Red Leg Brewing Company celebrated its first birthday.

On July 4th, Red Leg celebrated its first year in business with a blowout party that encompassed their entire location. Food trucks Bite Me Sausage and Gypsy Pizzeria were parked out back, and the beers were flowing up front! With a World Beer Cup bronze already under their belt, Red Leg is cranking out top quality brews and working ever closer to being served on every military base in the world. Congratulations to everyone who had a hand in their success! Everything seems to be falling in place because of all the hard work by Todd Baldwin and everyone at Red Leg, so the celebration was well deserved. The day would not have been complete until they released their first barley wine: the Screaming Eagle, which was deceptively strong, but wonderfully layered and delicious. It was great to see all the faces of our local beer community in one spot! Things are getting ever more exciting for Red Leg, and we'll sit down with Todd here in the coming weeks to get the whole picture, but for now, here's some photos from the event!RedLeg-0614RedLeg-0615RedLeg-0616RedLeg-0618RedLeg-0621RedLeg-0622RedLeg-0623RedLeg-0624RedLeg-0625RedLeg-0630RedLeg-0631RedLeg-0633RedLeg-0613 Thanks to Todd and Red Leg Brewing for a wonderful first year!
