Vail Big Beers: Experimental Brewing Seminar

One of the best things about the Vail Big Beers weekend is the multitude of educational seminars that are available. We wrestled ourselves out of bed and barely made the shuttle from the Evergreen Lodge (thanks Laura for putting us up!) to the Vail Cascade Resort. We grabbed a front row seat and got ready for the onslaught of imperial stouts that were just waiting to whet our appetite. Enjoy a recording of the seminar and a few of our photos! Here's our (almost) full recording of the seminar starting off with John Mallett's description of Bell's Cherry Stout:[soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/185701579" params="auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&visual=true" width="100%" height="450" iframe="true" /]Vail-Big-Beers-27Vail-Big-Beers-32 Vail-Big-Beers-21Vail-Big-Beers-25We hope you enjoy the listen! It was definitely a great seminar, with some amazing lessons on what goes into making an incredible experimental stout.
