Pikes Peak Brewing to Release Little London English Mild in Cans
Canning seems like its just starting to explode here in the Pikes Peak region. Rocky Mountain Brewing, Red Leg Brewing and Pikes Peak Brewing all have canning lines now and you can bet more will join in the future. After the immense response we saw for Red Leg Brewing's first can release, we're expecting the same for one of Pikes Peak Brewing's popular mainlines. Monument, CO – The most decorated of Pikes Peak Brewing’s beers, the Little London English Mild, is set to be the fourth flagship Pikes Peak Beer to be made available in 16 ounce cans.On March 13, 2015, Little London will join the Elephant Rock IPA, Devils Head Red, and Gold Rush Belgian Golden Strong in the beer cooler at J & K Liquor located at 2906 North Powers Blvd. in Colorado Springs.Colorado Springs was founded as a resort in the pristine wilderness. It attracted so many English tourists, many of whom had helped finance the town’s railroad, that it garnered the nickname “Little London”.In tribute, Pikes Peak Brewing presents this classic English Mild. It’s most refreshing brown ale, malt-forward with dried fruit aromas that lead to a light body of roasted coffee and walnut.
