This was originally slated to come out last Thursday, but due to a brewhouse hiccup, it was postponed to Monday.Come drink a toast with Bristol in the Pub June 20 at 5:30!About the beer: Imperial means everything about this RyePA is simply bigger. And at an ABV of 9%, you’ll definitely feel it. But that’s not all this beer has to offer. 25% rye means there’s a bit of spice, and Simcoe hops lends its characteristic earthiness, for high voltage flavor and character. What the heck is Knob Hill? Nikola Tesla, the inspiration for our new Forgotten Genius 4-pack Series, lived and worked in Colorado Springs in 1899, conducting electrical experiments at his experimental station on Knob Hill, just northeast of downtown Colorado Springs. He felt he made some of his most important discoveries here.

13442203_10154327670338987_5775315439045368958_nTrinity Brewing - Golden Acid Trip Release, a Lulo/Tamarind Sour At 5pm this Friday, head to Trinity Brewing for their latest sour beer release, this time a lulo/tamarind sour.Lulo is a citrus-like fruit that grows on a small shrub or tree. It is native to the northwest region of South America, but in Panama and Ecuador (and parts of the United States), this delicious, tangy little fruit is called naranjilla. The flavor of lulo is very distinctive and tart, and some people would compare it to a pineapple, or even a combination of lime and rhubarb.Ripened Tamarind fruit is considered the more palatable than its unripened fruit, as it becomes sweeter and less sour (acidic) as it matures. It is used in desserts, as a jam, blended into juices, or sweetened drinks, sorbets, ice creams and other snacks. In Western cuisine, it is found in Worcestershire sauce. In most parts of India, tamarind extract is used to flavor foods ranging from meals to snacks, and tamarind sweet chutney is popular in India as a dressing for many snacks.
