BrewDog's Equity for Punks USA is now Open!

If you haven't been living under a rock for the past few years, there's a high chance you've heard of BrewDog. This Scottish brewery has pretty much tried to revolutionize the way they run their brewery, and one of those ways is offering up equity shares to fans.Since all the way back in 2010, they've bucked the traditional business model, sold over 46,000 shares, and now, with their new brewery construction in Ohio underway, BrewDog fans in the USA are now able to join in!https://vimeo.com/175807056From their main page for Equity for Punks:

BrewDog also emailed some initial FAQs:

How do I invest?

Right here! We've set up Equity for Punks USA on BankRoll, which is an awesome American platform for equity crowdfunding. It differs from the likes of Kickstarter and IndieGoGo as we're selling real life shares in our American business. You can't sell equity on Kickstarter. But you can on BankRoll, using the new legislation introduced last summer, Regulation A+. We're one of the few businesses to make use of this new opportunity in America, and we're psyched to be bringing our pioneering Equity for Punks business model to the States!

How do I pay for my investment?

Easy! Just hop across to equityforpunksusa.com and follow the steps to complete your payment. Depending on where in the world you live, you may pay by wire transfer, BACS or ACH. Don't worry, the BankRoll pages will make it super straight forward to follow and process your application. If you have any problems or questions, feel free to email us on equitypunks@brewdog.com and we'll be sure to respond asap!

What are your plans for the USA?

You can read all about our plans for BrewDog in America right here in this handy brochure.

In short, we are going to combine Europe’s most explosive craft brewer with the world’s most exciting craft beer market. Expect fireworks.

Tell me more about Regulation A+

Our Equity for Punks USA offer is being made under “Regulation A+” which is Title IV of the JOBS Act. Our offering had to be submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission and qualified by them before we could offer any shares for sale. Equity for Punks USA is regulated by federal and state securities laws.

What benefits do I get?

You'll bag a whole raft of benefits if you invest in our USA business! Check out the benefits page in our brochure (page 18-19) to see how you can get your paws on exclusive beers, merch, spirits, tours & trips to our breweries, and invites to our US AGM!

What do I need to put in the ‘Net Worth’ field?

This is a requirement for US securities law, as you can only invest up to 10% of your annual income or ‘net worth’ (the value of what you own, minus what you owe), whichever is the higher number. We won’t ask you to send us documents to prove what you put in this field, it’s just required by the finance people who want to know you’re not blowing your life savings on us!

Where can I see my shareholding?

All your share details will be held in your brewdog.com account. You can expect your US shareholder status to be updated as and when we progress with your application.

I have more questions!

Cool! Email equitypunks@brewdog.com and one of our awesome Equity Punk rangers will get back to you!
