It's Oktoberfest Season again

Happy Monday! This next weekend, Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas will be transformed into Munich, albeit only in character, as our local breweries celebrate Oktoberfest. We completely missed telling you about Pikes Peak Brewing's Oktoberfest, which happened this past Saturday. If you missed out like us, you can make up for it by attending PPBC's Local 5 release tonight, as proceeds from the beer go to the Fallen Firefighter Memorial.

If you're not headed to Germany for the festivities, you can come celebrate right here with us!Join us on Saturday, September 16th for Oktoberfest: Cerberus Style. New beer! Food in the beer garden! Cerberus Beer Mugs! We will be releasing our Oktoberfest Märzen Lager (Name TBD) on Friday, Sept. 15th, and continuing the celebrations throughout the weekend! On Saturday we will have 1/2 Liter Cerberus Beer Mugs for sale that will include 1 pour of the Oktoberfest Märzen! Lederhosen encouraged.

Great Storm Brewing | 12pm-10pm

Great Storm is celebrating with the re-release of their fall seasonal, Red Oktober, a mashup between a traditional Oktoberfest ale and an Irish red.They’ll also have some new and returning small-batch beers:Gdansk Gdansk Revolution, a Baltic porterMint Chocolate Chip StoutLightningstorm Wheat WineGeez Louise! ESBand Sailor’s Delight, a hoppy Belgian red.But most importantly, GSB will be giving away two tickets to the sold-out Great American Beer Festival!  How cool is that?  If you’ve ever wanted to be completely overwhelmed with thousands of possible beers to drink, all for free, go hang with GSB in Oktoberfest for a chance to win the tickets.

Nano 108 Brewing | 11:30am-4pm

Beers, Brats, Music, and Das Boots are happening at Nano 108 Brewing Company.Food will be provided by The Potato House German cuisine. Food starts at 12:00 Noon right after the beer tapping. The Bratwurst plate has two brats, sauerkraut, potato salad, and red cabbage. Enjoy the authentic taste straight from Germany.0.5L glass Das Boots will be available for purchase the day of the event or discounted as a package below. We will be serving 18 beers and 2 hand crafted sodas all day long. The feature beer of the day is Oktoberfest Marzen. Aroma is rich with malt sweetness and toasted malt. Low hop bitterness.
