Bristol Brewing Launches New Hop-Forward Can Series

New World Peace Death Ray Series a major departure from Bristol’s current branding.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (June 7, 2023) – Bristol Brewing Co. announced today the launch of a newly branded beer series designed to spotlight hoppy brews and available only in cans and on draft. The series, called World Peace Death Ray, features branding and packaging that looks completely different from anything seen before from Bristol, including satin-finish cans, a minimal color palette, and fun, edgy graphics to match the series name.

Bristol is kicking off the series with two beers to begin with: their Imperial IPA, and also their Hazy IPA, which was previously available only on draft. Additional hoppy beers will be added to the series in 2024.

Fans of Bristol’s former Flagship Series beer, World Peace Death Ray Imperial IPA, will recognize that beer and the new series name, but not the branding. “We’ve been brewing IPAs for years, but when we decided to package our popular hazy, I thought it would be fun to continue exploring hoppy styles within a dedicated series, and it just made sense to bring our imperial into that too,” said MIke Bristol, the brewery’s owner. “And we’ve always loved the name ‘World Peace Death Ray’ so we also decided to take that brand idea and shake things up in a fresh new way.”

The new cans will begin arriving in liquor stores and on draft in bars and restaurants this week, with a launch party planned for Saturday, June 17, 1:00pm - 4:00pm in the brewery’s completely redesigned beer garden in front of Ivywild School.
