Revamping our “Brewsletter”
If you hadn’t noticed, we’ve launched a new revamped “brewsletter” called Focal Pint on Substack. Substack allows us to expand how we share news with you, and gives us more tools to provide better resources for the Colorado Springs brewing scene!
What can you expect from the new format?
Recaps galore
We’ll recap posts from our content team on our website and on social media, so you can get to all that information from one place.
Beer Job Listings
Beer jobs get announced and then lost in the shuffle, so we hope to become a resource for job seekers who are looking to enter the brewing industry or to expand their current skills.
Upcoming Events Listings
We’ll try to highlight specific upcoming events that either are happening this week or are selling tickets that may sell out. We won’t include things like trivia, run clubs, painting classes, or weekly events that aren’t directly related to beer, though.
Brew News
We occasionally are sent press releases from breweries in Colorado and beyond, and will share the news so you can stay up to date on the state of the entire industry.
How can you get your content in our newsletter?
If you’re hosting a beer specific event (releases, special one-time events, anniversary parties), send us an email with that information. We’ll try to post it on our website and include it in the event listings!
If you are hiring, send us a link to your listing and we’ll add it to our newsletter
If you have a press release, send us your press release and any images.
You can send these to content@focusonthe.beer and one of our team members will get it. We can’t guarantee that every piece of information sent to us gets posted, but we try hard to include as much as possible.
