WeldWerks Invitational 2025

WeldWerks Brewing Company celebrated its 10th anniversary with the return of the WeldWerks Invitational on February 8th, 2025. This was their fourth Invitational with previous events held in 2018, 2019, and 2022. The event was a success as always; selling more tickets than in 2022 — nearly 1200, with the first session selling out and the second session nearly selling out. The move of the festival from June to February (and the day before the Superbowl) didn’t seem to impact attendance negatively. No word yet on whether this will resume being an annual event or if it will stay in February to continue aligning with their anniversary.

The beers were phenomenal with a wide array of breweries from across the country showing off all of their barrel-aged awesomeness, a bevy of juicy/hazy IPAs, and a handful of lower ABV fruit beers and crispy lagers to cut through the richness of the other offerings. Among our favorites - and there were too many to name - were Barrel Theory’s DDH It’ll Leave You Breathless triple IPA, Side Project’s 11 Candles BA imperial stout, Mortalis Brewing’s Thanatos BA imperial stout, and New Image’s Oxidized Barleywine aged in PX sherry barrels. We can’t wait for the next Invitational, whenever that might be…but we hope we’re not waiting 3 years for the next one.
