Elizabeth Brewing Company and Dueces Wild release 22 A Day Imperial Hazy

On tap right now, Elizabeth Brewing Company and Dueces Wild collaborated on a 12% DDH Hazy DIPA where a part of the proceeds will go to help prevent Veteran suicide.

Elizabeth Brewing and Dueces wanted to bring attention to those who are not aware that veterans take their lives everyday. True to the name, an average of twenty-two veterans commit suicide daily. The breweries, through the release of the beer, and through the public awareness, want veterans to know they have an outlet, a support system and help if needed.

Both breweries will be donating $1 from every beer sold to the 22 A Day program specifically designed to help those veterans dealing with thoughts of suicide.

The beer was brewed with a hefty malt bill of base grain, flaked wheat and oats and hopped with eleven pounds each of Mosaic and Zythos hops. It comes in at 12% ABV and 44 IBUs, and is available at both Dueces’ Peterson Road brewery and Elizabeth Brewing’s taproom in Elizabeth, CO.
