Here are some regional beverage makers supporting Pride month in June

From drag show events, parades, beer releases, and pride shirts, the food and beverage community is showing up for the LGBTQ+ community.

Here’s a roundup from all around Colorado thanks to Chea at Indie Creative Co:

  • Adrift Tiki Bar will have a featured Pride cocktail called Divine’s Intervention with a portion of proceeds going to The Center on Colfax June 23-25.

  • Call to Arms Brewing has announced 2023 Big Pride Energy with a month of programming to support Colorado’s LGBTQ+ community including a Big Gay Beer Fest on June 10 and a parade on June 24. In advance of this year’s 2023 Pride Month celebrations, Call to Arms Brewing is excited to announce the return of “Narnia of Partya”, a Kiwi Hefeweizen which will once again serve as this year’s official beer for the brewery’s Pride Month fundraiser. 10% of all beer sales from CtA’s Pride Fest event along with 10% of sales of Narnia of Party throughout the month of June will be going to support The Transformative Freedom Fund.

  • On June 3, Cerebral Brewing’s Congress Park taproom will be celebrating the release of their annual pride beer in which all proceeds will go to Envision:You. The brewery’s monthly Queer Beers trivia from 7 to 9 p.m. 

  • Cheluna Brewing will be selling Pride-themed pint glasses and t-shirts and donating 20% of proceeds to PFLAG Denver. Additionally, Cerebral has teamed up with Lady Justice Brewing for a Pride punch card promotion. All month starting, starting on June 3, purchase All Hops No Hate at Cerebral’s Aurora Arts pop-up taproom or Lady Justice’s Strawberry Lalager and be entered into a raffle for a Pride swag bundle.

  • Copper Kettle Brewing will host a 21+ Drag Brunch on June 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with Talia Tucker and Coco Bardot. Tickets are $25, which include entry in the show, a special edition 12-year anniversary pint glass, and one free beer. The brewery will also have pride shirts and stickers available. 15% of each drag show ticket and Pride shirt/sticker will go to The Center on Colfax

  • Denver Beer Co. will release “Berry Proud” Sour Ale on June 1st with a portion of proceeds of the beer and merchandise supporting One Colorado. On June 10 the Platte Street location will have a day-long Pride Party with drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race, a Doggie Drag Show, live music, local Denver drag talent, and more. 

  • Ghost Box Pizza in Lafayette will be offering $7 Pride Margaritas for the entire month of June.

  • Hearth Bakery is hosting a Queer Makers Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 17 with 15% of the bakery’s proceeds going to Inside Out Youth Services.

  • Joyride Brewing will have limited edition Pride shirts available. $5 from every shirt will support The Center on Colfax.

  • Our Mutual Friend Brewing Company has Pride shirts available for purchase all year long. $5 from every shirt goes to Inside Out Youth Services.

  • Public Offering Brewing Company is hosting opening night for their next artist series on June 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. which will feature more than 30 works of art from over 30 different local Denver artists. The show features a beautiful and unique blend of works varying in style, medium and size and all under the theme of Queer Love. For any art sold during the month, each artist is pledging a portion of proceeds to be donated to The Gathering Place. Additionally, $0.50 for every full pour of Public Offering’s Give and Gose will be going to The Gathering Place, and 100 percent of profits of their pride shirts will be donated to that organization as well. 

  • Station 26 Brewing will have Pride shirts available on June 2. A portion of proceeds will benefit ACLU ColoradoAdditionally, $1 of every four-pack of their Passionately Proud Cream Ale will benefit The Alexander Foundation

  • Storm Peak Brewing in Steamboat Springs is releasing TRY LOVE on June 1st. This fruited pilsner was made in collaboration with Steamboat Women’s Rugby and a portion of proceeds will go to Yampa Valley Pride organizations.

  • The Block Distilling Co will host a Pride-themed market on Sunday, June 4, and a Summer Solstice Drag Show on June 21. The market will include vendors from the LGBTQ+ community and pop-up tattoos and piercings, and the Summer Solstice drag event will be co-hosted with the social justice legal center Bread & Roses Law. The Block will also be offering Higher Love, a boozy berry lemonade cocktail featuring The Block’s Summer Gin with strawberry, blueberry, and lemon for the entire month of June. Inspired by the Transgender flag composed of light blue, light pink, and white horizontal stripes, Higher Love is visually represented as a layered cocktail that also features light pink and blue stripes with the added flair of edible glitter. The Block also offers The Marigold Sour, made with their four-grain whiskey, marigold syrupgomme honey, marigold tincture, saline, lemon, and egg white year-round. $3 of each Marigold Sour sold is donated to The Marigold Project, Nathaniel Rateliff’s foundation supporting community and nonprofit organizations in the areas of economic, racial, and social justice.

  • Tres Litros Beer Company in Salida is hosting a pre-Pride Comedy Night with proceeds of a 50/50 raffle going towards PfCA (Partnership for Community Action); all comedians are part of the LGBTQ+ community. On June 2, the brewery will also be hosting the Ark Valley Pride Kickoff Party, a gathering with community speakers, swag giveaways, trivia. This event is in partnership with PfCA.
