WeldWerks and Bottle Logic Team Up For Two Releases

WeldWerks Brewing Co. is kicking off 2020 with two amazing bottle releases on January 24 - February 2, one of which is a collaboration with Anaheim-based brewery Bottle Logic Brewing who will be making an appearance for release day and even better—they’re bringing some delicious liquid that will be available on draft in the tasting room.

Vanilla Destinations is a barrel-aged stout collaboration with Bottle Logic that started when the Anaheim-based brewery made the trek up to Greeley for the WeldWerks Invitational in June of 2018. This behemoth of an Imperial Stout, which clocks in at 13.1% ABV, combines the techniques and favorite malts from both breweries and was then laid to rest in freshly emptied 8-12 year Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for 18 months. After barrel aging, the beer was conditioned on a blend of Ugandan and Fiji Vanilla beans for several weeks and then finished with freshly, roasted Belize taco nibs from Culture Craft Chocolate in Denver. Available in 22-oz bottles to-go for $32 each with a limit of 4 bottles per person.

WeldWerks will also be releasing Double Barrel 1910 Medianoche, a 13.5% ABV beer that pays homage to Old Forester’s 1910 bourbon and mirrors their double barrel technique. The journey began by aging Medianoche in four freshly emptied 6-11 year-old Kentucky bourbon barrels for 12 months, which feature a heavy toast and light char, identical to the casks used for 1910. Then WeldWerks racked each Medianoche bourbon barrel until a freshly emptied Old Forester 1910 barrel (which was used to finish mature Old Forester bourbon for six to nine months) where this batch of Medianoche rested for nine months. The amount of months aging between the two casks is 21 months! Available in 22-oz bottles to-go for $32 each, with a limit of 2 bottles per person.

Tickets will be sold online exclusively through Eventbrite on Wednesday, January 15 at 6 p.m. These tickets will be exchanged for bottles in-person between Friday, January 24 and Sunday, February 2 during taproom hours. More information about this release, including ticketing information, can be found via their FB event page.
