Miss Brewer's
I knew this weekend was going to be totally insane, and I figured I'd get beered out. I did. I'm sitting here writing this, thinking I don't need to drink another beer for a week. We started on Friday with the Miss Brewers contest at Brewer's Republic. The winner, gets a big bar tab, a cash prize, and gets to be the face of Brewer's Republic over the next year. Next up was Beers Made By Walking, followed by Trinity's three year anniversary followed by the one year anniversary at Brewer's Republic. I had a fantastic time with friends and family this weekend and wanted to show you how good it was. All photos were taken by Daniel Flanders.

Beers Made By Walking

Late Saturday afternoon was the first of two tasting events for Beers Made By Walking. The event was hosted at Brewer's Republic. I organized the thing, built the trays, and put together a 12 page menu and catalog that talked about the project and showcased the homebrewers involved. The sweet deal was that the beers were Rocky Mountain Brewery so they became a commercial product, even though they were made and conceived by homebrewers. I'm going to write a full post on this event, so I'm only showing a few photos to whet your appetite.

Trinity's Anniversary

Next up was Trinity Brewing. They were celebrating their third anniversary so I at least had to make a stop in, even though I was exhausted from my own event. Trinity pulled out the big guns, opening some kegs of Old Growth, Pappy Legba, Provisional, and some other goodies. They also had a cask of their Double IPA, Slap Yer Mammy, aged on Jasmine and Tangerine but I missed that. I stayed for about an hour, was almost convinced to dance (not really), and enjoyed the beer.

Brewer's Republic Anniversary
I paced myself so I could still head over to Brewer's Republic for their first anniversary. I could have stayed all night at Trinity but really, Brewer's is my local hangout, I'm there A LOT and I wouldn't have missed this party. For $20 you got to drink as much as you wanted till you dropped out or got kicked out (if the liquor license people are reading this...that's not exactly what was happening).
