Introducing The Top 10 Beer Spots in Colorado Springs
The time has come to countdown the Colorado Springs area top 10 beer spots. The idea of this segment evolved after recently visiting Seattle's beer scene where a local beer blog, Seattle Beer News, gives their audience recommendations on their top 10 beer spots. They didn't stear me wrong, and I'm hoping we can do the same for our readers. We have searched high and low and even a few miles outside of Colorado Springs to bring you what we think are the 10 best places to enjoy a delicious pint of beer in our area.
We based our votes not only on the beer offerings, but also on atmosphere, location, food, and service. Eric, Daniel, and myself all contributed to the voting process, and we also invited three guest voters in on the fun including our new writer Grant Goodwiler, Brewer's Republic's lovely Leah Chabbitty, and beerophile and homebrewer Mike "Lefty" McGuckian. We didn't all agree with each other on every part of the list, but we decided to average our scores, and that's how the list was finalized.
