Beer Happenings the Next 2 Weeks in the Area

There are a few beer happenings in the area over the next two weeks, so we thought we would send the info your way. This isn't necessarily everything though, there's events coming up that might get booked up, and things get put onto our calendar at the last minute, so be sure to check our local beer events calendar too. Have a look and I hope to see you out!

The beers: Coconut Porter, Big Swell IPA, Bikini Blonde, La Perouse White, Pineapple Wheat, Passion Pale In the past, these were $40, for 6 beers and 5 courses. I assume they still are. Call quickly and reserve a spot because this is actually tonight! 719.481.6446

Meet the New Brewer at Shamrock (Pueblo) - 4pm
Join us Tuesday, June 5th to meet Jeff Lockhart, Shamrock’s new Brewer! Jason will be filling the taps with some special brews one last time beginning at 4 pm until they’re gone. Jeff comes to Shamrock with experience at 4 previous breweries and is excited to call Shamrock his new brewing home. We’ll have Double Irish Red, Vanilla Porter, and may even break out the last remaining 2005 Barleywine brewed by Alan Stiles. We also have Blueberry Wheat and Shamrock Kolsch, two of our newer specialty beers on tap. See you tomorrow!

Last time they tapped a blended Deviant and G'Knight that had been dry-hopped. Not sure as of now what this one will be but, just thought I'd mention it...

Friday June 15th

GOPrisals Release Party at Trinity - 5pm
From Trinity: Apricots have just come into season! We decided to age this Saison on copious amounts of the fruit and Chardonnay grapes. The very fruity character of this beer is balanced by a notable toasty malt profile and the spicy addition of pepper. 4.8% ABV.
