Meet the Brewer: Aspen Brewing Co. Sept. 4th

After a busy summer where we had the likes of Upslope, Ska and River North for our Meet the Brewer events, we really have to tip our caps to Brian at Front Range BBQ for his assistance facilitating our next event. With his help, we've lined up Aspen Brewing Company to come down and share their brewed goodies with us. It's been a whirlwind of a 2014, but there's still more to come. We're super excited to bring Aspen Brewing down from the mountains to our burg to share their story and beer.

If you didn't know it, Aspen Brewing has been on the beer scene since March of 2008, when Duncan Clauss decided to bring a brewery back to Aspen. With over a century of brewing history in the Roaring Fork Valley, from the original Aspen Brewing Company back in 1885 to Flying Dog in the '90's, it is only fitting to continue on the tradition. With award winning beers like their Belgian Farmhouse Saison, which won Silver at the Great American Beer Festival in 2012 and a Gold at the 2014 World Beer Cup, they truly bring meaning to the "Dumb and Dumber" quote: "a place where the beer flows like wine."

Plus, who doesn't like a nice craft brewed beer after a day on the slopes? In five short years, Aspen Brewing has grown from small local brewery to one with distribution throughout Colorado in cans and 22oz Bombers. We hope you'll come out to Front Range and join us!
