Springs Brew News: Red Baron Release, IPA Test Taps, Stone Dinner and more

Well last weekend sure was a blur after doing double duty on Saturday. Rendezvous at the Rock was a blast, but so was the second night of Brewer's Republic's Birthday Bash. We even sat in on a ladies brew session that morning as well! Time to recover...oh wait, there's no time for recovery.This week, we get to start celebrating Bristol's 20th Anniversary, as their events get going with their Buses at the Brewery! As always, there's something for everyone, so get on out there and enjoy the amazing beer Colorado Springs has to offer! Maybe we'll see you around!

Test Tap Wednesday at Fieldhouse

This week, Travis and Niki are tapping a special IPA. Brewed with Mosaic and Zythos, expect strong citrus with some earthy and pine as well. As always, they'll have the Global Grub Truck there to provide a one-of-a-kind pairing. Perfect place for dinner!

Trinity's Giving Beer

This week's charity is Medicine Wheel, who tirelessly work to provide trail access for all modes of recreation in this city. Head to Trinity and become a beer-philanthropist for a night. Show up between 5:30 and 7:30 and $1 from every beer will go to Medicine Wheel!

Red Baron Oktoberfest Release

Bristol is releasing their ever popular Oktoberfest at 5pm! Make sure to get there by 5:30 for the complimentary samples and sausage bites from Meat Locker!Red Baron is, as Bristol describes it, "A hardy beer befitting the celebration and the man it commemorates, Red Baron Octoberfest is a dark lager brewed in the traditional Vienna style. Vienna and Munich malts give our Octoberfest a toasty, dry flavor and ruddy brown color that warm the heart when the leaves begin to fall." Hope we see you all there!

Birthday Bash at Fieldhouse

Travis, brewmaster at Fieldhouse Brewing, is turning 30! He's inviting everyone to the party too! The Merken Food Truck will be on hand, and they'll have live music, cake and of course their great beer! Stop in and wish Travis a Happy Birthday!

Head on down to Bristol Brewing on Saturday for their annual Buses at the Brewery! This is a free event that goes from 11-3:30! Check out the multitude of vintage VW buses that will be on display!

The Big Birthday Bike Crawl

Bristol Brewing is turning 20 and the Indy is finally of legal age, so join in on their birthday bike crawl down Tejon Street where they'll hit up four of Bristol’s original draught accounts from way back in 1994: Poor Richards, Jose Muldoons, Old Chicago, and The Ritz.
