Blues and Brews: Sunday

So I already showed off all the fine people who attended the Grand Tasting of the 2014 Telluride Blues and Brews, but that was only a small part of what made the festival so great! Looking through my photos, I realized that I took more photos of the musicians than I did of the beer. Where else can you attend a beer festival and have extraordinary live music from some of the best artists in the country while you sip some suds?

I'll be the first one to admit that this post doesn't fit in with our usual programming, but the musical acts at this year's Blues and Brews were so amazing I had to show them off! Being that the festival started off as a Brewers festival, it's only fitting to showcase some of the even bigger stars who are on the stage.

Each day was quite an experience. With greats on stage like Lee Fields, Shakey Graves and George Clinton, you can understand why. Here's a ton of photos from the performances!Lee Fields came up with a super young band, but absolutely rocked the stage. His voice is as good as I've ever heard on any recording...and he sang it all spot on! One of the best performances of the weekend![tw-parallax image="http://www.focusonthe.beer/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/TBBF-LeeField-2232.jpg" target="self" ]

In the media tent, we were treated to Epic Brewing's Blueski Lager, which was perfect for such a hot day!IMG_1561My next favorite from Sunday was Shakey Graves, an alt-blues rocker from Austin. He definitely got the energy skyrocketing up front with his high paced sound.[tw-parallax image="http://www.focusonthe.beer/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Telluride-Blues-Brews-Shakey-Graves-2278.jpg" target="self" ]
