Friday of the Great American Beer Festival was our marathon day, bouncing from event to event, culminating in the Friday night session. We joined Samuel Adams for breakfast as they announced their Longshot winners and a new double IPA. Then we popped over to Magic hat for their coffee IPA and some interesting donuts, but the beer was definitely tasty.The big event of the day was the media luncheon, where we joined hundreds of other journalists and media to learn about where the Brewer's Association has gone in the past year, and where they're planning on going this next year. One major thing is the advent of a new top level domain (like .com or .net) specific to the beer industry. Today is the members session, where Brewers Association and American Homebrewers Association members get special glassware for a members-only tasting session.
