Springs Brew News: Fields Benefit Continues, Breck Dinner, Fossil Opens and More

I'm a bit late getting this week's event post out...I've been busy hitting up Nano 108 and Great Storm in support of the Jason Fields Benefit events! If you'd like to get in on the philanthropic action, check out the story behind the benefit here.Anyways, this week is a bit on the lower key side event wise as we gear up for Halloween and the All Colorado Beer Festival next week!

Wednesday

Test Taps at Fieldhouse Brewing | Oak aged IPA

I talked to Travis about this beer yesterday at Great Storm and he was super excited to share it with everyone. Aged on oak and keg hopped, this isn't your standard Paralysis IPA. Treehouse BBQ will be serving up some smoked tenderloin to pair with your pint, so stop in if you're in the area! Remember, these are super small batches that are only available on Wednesdays!

Jason Fields Benefit night at Red Leg Brewing

Tonight, Todd and everyone at Red Leg will be hosting Bill Layton and the Bite Me Sausage crew for their night of this benefit week. Check out the post linked above for times!

Great Storm Brewing doing a Tap Attack

GSB will be showcasing 3-4 of their beers at Green Man tonight. Free glassware and swag as advertised! You won't see us there, but if you're in the area, stop in and support one of our local breweries!

Jason Fields Benefit night at Smiling Toad Brewery

On Thursday, the benefit continues with Biff, Fred and everyone at Smiling Toad Brewery. They'll have Gypsy Pizzeria there to provide food as well!

Friday

Jason Fields Benefit night at Iron Bird

Friday, the benefit travels to Iron Bird, where they've just tapped some awesome new casks this week. Merken is the supporting food truck. This is the last time for the near future that a food truck will be at Iron Bird, so get there and enjoy it! From now on, they've partnered with Oscar's down the street to provide their menu.

Saturday

Manitou Springs Coffin Races

Come join the crowds and watch as 50 Different teams race for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place In Historic Downtown Manitou Springs. The races are preceded by the parade of coffins and antique hearses. Bristol Brewing will have a tent at Soda Springs park, so stop in and grab some beers while you're there!

Jason Fields Benefit Ends at Fieldhouse Brewing

The Benefit week ends at Fieldhouse Brewing on Saturday from Noon to 10pm! Bring in your completed punchcards and get your growlers! They'll have 2 food trucks on hand for the festivities as well!
