ACBF Photo Recap and Medal Winners

After the Great American Beer Festival, the fest circuit goes somewhat into hibernation mode until January's Vail Big Beers Festival with one notable exception. The All Colorado Beer Festival, held in Colorado Springs the first weekend in November is an event not to miss. This fest is run smoothly and professionally in the same vein as it's big brother GABF,  and with ample volunteers and professional coordination, the brewers can talk about their beers with every attendee adding to the enjoyable experience. We attended the afternoon session, which hadn't completely sold out like the evening session, but was busy from the get go!One caveat to working tirelessly to open a brewery and having a newborn: Shaving is no longer necessary. Rich, from Fossil Brewing with a prime example.Dom from Manitou Brewing manned their booth for much of the afternoon session. Early on, it was all smiles for Paradox, and with the longest line at the Fest, it was well warranted. Congrats to Paradox for their Gold for Old Kintucky Common in the Smoke and Wood Aged category! This guy kept his Halloween costume on from the night before and proceeded to cover it with every sticker possible.

As always, the competition aspect of the event really helped showcase some of Colorado's best brews. With over 70 breweries in attendance and more than 200 variants of beer being poured, there easily was something for everyone. Congratulations to everyone who competed, it was sure fun to see 11 medals for Pikes Peak region brewers out of a total of 36! Below is the list of winners, we've highlighted our regional winners!
