Springs Brew News: Best of Beer, Beer for Boobies, Hopped Toddy and More!

Holy cow, it is already November! The weather sure has changed quickly, with some of us seeing glimpses of the white stuff falling from the heavens, but never fear, beer is always here. We've got some fun events happening this week, so get off your couch, bundle up and head out! Plus we've debuted our very own Best Of contest for Pikes Peak region breweries and beer outlets! There were so many great choices in our area for our "top ten," so we've decided to turn to you, the voters, to make all the tough decisions...

2014 Best of Beer

BestOfFeaturedYou may have noticed that our little town has a couple "Best Of" voting events that occur each year...The Gazette does one and so does The Independent. After seeing the results from both, we felt that the vast majority of craft beer in Colorado Springs is woefully represented. In years past, we've given you our personal top-ten list for local beer, but this year we decided to put the decision making in your hands, election style. We have 10 categories with some of our favorites from this past year, but it's up to you to decide who gets the win! Share with your friends/fans if you'd like as well! Voting will close on December 1st, and you can vote once per day! http://www.focusonthe.beer/2014-best-beer/On to the events:
