19th Annual Salida Brewers Rendezvous Photo recap

Last weekend we joined in the fun at the Colorado Brewers Rendezvous. After a long workweek, we finally had a chance to look through our photos and pull out some gems from the weekend.If you've never made it over to Salida for the Colorado Brewers Rendezvous, you definitely need to put it on your bucket list. The event is extremely well put together and showcases many of the cool up-and-coming breweries we have here in Colorado.A look at the bottles Crooked Stave went through that afternoon.Riff Raff, of Pagosa, missed out in the lottery, but collaborated with Three River Brewing to be able to join in the fest.The fest had two entrances, which helped ensure the crowds could easily and quickly make their way through the line.Elevation was pouring a mango infused version of their 8 Second kölsch, which easily was one of the most popular at the fest.Cody from Carver Brewing in Durango.When Bess from Wynkoop is at a fest, you can bet on seeing some sort of unicorn around...I forgot I was wearing an Elevation hat until visiting their booth. Free sunglasses!Zack from Chain Reaction BrewingBrewers from Pagosa BrewingSo many different colored beers!If you take Highway 115 to Salida, you'll pass by Phantom Canyon's namesake.While the line was decently long at both entrances, it moved really quickly when the gates opened.As a former Durango resident, this beer always has a spot in my heart.I love seeing people get dressed up for beer festivals. This crew was all dressed like the running of the bulls.Grist Brewing has this custom jockey box made from one of their founders' grandmother's old wine casks.As per the usual, Crooked Stave was among the first few breweries to run out of beer, along with Former Future and Platt Park.Superpower IPA. Enough said. Go to Comrade and try this.Ska Brewing was handing out special 20th Anniversary stickers. Their anniversary is September 12 in Durango with Reel Big Fish headlining.Doesn't Thomas look good in an apron?We're not sure what to say...Couldn't have asked for better weather for the weekend!Scarbs was just way too happy to see us.Steve Kurowski, of the Colorado Brewers GuildSalida has such a great location for a beer festival, with equal parts sun and shade. Elevation's mango kölschBack at the Brew Brothers homebrew club campsite the beer sampling continued.
