New Brewery Series: Triple S Brewing

If you can believe it, it has been over 9 months since the last brewery opened up here in Colorado Springs. This month, we've seen Local Relic open up their membership program and tonight our budding industry gains another brew pub! We want to congratulate Triple S Brewing for making it through the grueling process of buildout, licensing and Regional Building.Triple-S-Brewing2Triple S, which originally stood for the founders' initials, but quickly morphed into 'sip, savor, stay,' is the brainchild of Steve and Sarah Stowell. Located at 318 E. Colorado Ave., Triple S is in a space that seems smaller than it truly is.Triple-S-Brewing3Walking in the front doors, you're greeted to a nice wraparound bar and plenty of seating as you walk towards the back. Their space opens up in the back with high ceilings and a huge L-shaped granite bar.Beyond the bar and seating area is the brewhouse, complete with a viewing window and half-door where you can see all the magic happening on his Colorado-made 7 barrel brewhouse!Triple-S-Brewing5Steve's modeled his kitchen after the wildly popular concept that Wild Goose has done so perfectly, a small footprint that can pump out a myriad of dishes. If all the food tastes as good as the Sriracha Chicken Sausage we had, then he's done it right!Triple-S-Brewing4Today marked their ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening, so if you're planning on hitting up a brewery or two downtown, brave the hail and make sure you stop in to say hi. Cheers!
