Rocky Mountain Brewery hosts Vets, Pets and Brews Dec. 11

Colorado Springs, CO – On Friday, December 11th, 2015 beginning at 5pm Rocky Mountain Brewery will be hosting a benefit for Victory Service Dogs called Vets, Pets and Brews. The goal is to help raise money for their programs that provide service and support dogs to veterans here in Colorado Springs. One of the highlights of the evening will be Rocky Mountain Brewery's release of Stanley's Private Reserve, a specially brewed dog "beer." The special brew contains no alcohol and no hops, and plenty of doggy goodness. All the money from the sales of this limited release and our dog bones made from the spent brewing grain will go directly to Victory Service Dogs. Not a percentage, not just the profits, but all the money. Ingredients for the dog beer were generously donated by B'z BBQ, Cowboy Star and Whole Foods. Additional fundraising will come in the form of a silent auction with goods and services donated by local businesses.Well socialized and leashed dogs will be welcome in the tasting room at Rocky Mountain Brewery, and as always, you and your pet are welcome to enjoy the private dog park at the brewery.Other festivities for the evening include the annual Ugly Christmas Sweater contest with prizes for best (or is that worst?) human and dog sweaters as well as door prizes being given away throughout the night.About Victory Service DogsVictory Service Dogs is a 501(c)3 pending organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of people with life challenges by matching them with service and support dogs. They proudly provide service dogs to those military and civilians who are in need of a trained companion.About Rocky Mountain BreweryRocky Mountain Brewery is locally owned and has been brewing excellent craft beer in Colorado Springs since 2008, making us the third oldest in town.
