Pull up your Lederhosen, It's Oktoberfest Season!

Yep, Oktoberfest Season is upon us. In just a few short weeks, a bunch of local breweries will be hosting their own celebrations, so keep checking back for more information as we hear of things!

September 10 • Pikes Peak Brewing • 11AM

September 17 • Paradox Beer Company • Noon - 9PM

14207726_1089207517829986_7143699211521480155_oJoin Paradox for their inaugural Oktoberfest Celebration Festival! Admittance to the event is FREE.Paradox will be releasing an Oktoberfest beer brewed specially for this festival and will be serving an authentic German meal including a whole-hog pig roast. We will also have live music (Keep an eye out for lineup announcements!)Tickets for the German meal went on sale Wednesday, August 31. Special packages will be available with traditional-style Oktoberfest beer mugs and/or event t-shirts. All profits from the pig roast tickets, special Oktoberfest beer, and mug and Oktoberfest shirt sales will go to benefit International Surgical Missions, a Colorado charity that sends doctors and nurses overseas to provide medical care and local staff training, and improve facilities in countries where people are unable to receive needed medical care. Gdansk Gdansk baltic porterGreat Storm Brewing will be giving away two tickets to the GABF at our Oktoberfest party Sat. Sep. 17th!  The free drawing will be at 9:00pm and you must be present to win.  Also doing hourly giveaways beginning at 6pm, Smokin’ J’s barbeque truck will be here and Great Storm will have their fall seasonal beer releases:

  • Red Oktober, a mashup of Irish and German styles, with a Russian name
  • Gdansk Gdansk Revolution, a Baltic Porter spiced with bay leaves

September 17 • Bill Layton's Layton/Hanss Oktoberfest Fundraiser for SADS • 4pm

October 1 • Castle Rock Oktoberfest • 1PM-8PM

Head on Downtown to Oktoberfest 2016 on October 1, 2016 1pm - 8pm in Downtown Castle Rock!Here is the beer line up for this year (so far):1. Erdinger2. Lone Tree Brewing3. Pikes Peak4. Blue Spruce5. RockyardSTREET CLOSURES: Wilcox St will be closed between 3rd and 5th streets, 4th Street between Perry and Jerry Streets, 3rd Street between Perry and Wilcox Streets, Jerry Street between 3rd and 4th Streets.PARKING: Parking is available at the Douglas County parking garage located at 3rd and Jerry Street, on the southwest corner of the event venue. Also, there is parking on Elbert Street between 3rd and 4th Streets, one block west of the event.TROLLEY: The trolley will be providing FREE shuttle service from the library parking lot, Town of Castle Rock parking lot and County parking garage. Trolley service will be available 1:00pm - 8:00pm.
