Fieldhouse Brewing to rebrand as FH Beerworks

In this day and age, brewery vs brewery lawsuits are pretty much commonplace and can get pretty ugly as we're seeing in the Epic Brewing vs Eddyline Epic Day case. One of our local breweries is looking to avoid any such conflicts by rebranding before being served with any sort of litigation.Fieldhouse Brewing will soon become FH Beerworks. The change is, as Travis Fields describes, to "protect themselves" from anything further down the road."We wanted [with the rebrand] to make sure that as the brewery grew we didn't have to keep looking over our shoulder. If we keep expanding to say, 10,000 barrels, it's much, much harder to rebrand everything. Right now, I can personally head to every account and switch out cans if need be."So who would come knocking about the word Fieldhouse? Triton Brewing Company out of Indianapolis, IN owns the "fieldhouse" trademark for their Fieldhouse Wheat— a 2017 GABF Bronze medal winner—and although they haven't done anything yet, the Fields are trying to stay ahead of the curve."We've been thinking about this for a few months now—tossing around some names, but we ultimately landed on FH Beerworks."The new logo and packaging was designed by Lauren McKenzie of REN Creativ, a local design shop here in Colorado Springs. She tells FOTB that the colors in the logo and packaging will change depending on the beer similar to what Fieldhouse previously had used. Fieldhouse will also be switching up their flagship line a little, with the lineup being Sticky Paws, Forman Red, and Good Day IPA.Along with a new name and new look, the tasting room will be getting a facelift as well. Look for changes to start happening later this summer, with new packaging arriving hopefully by the end of June as well!FH Beerworks is planning more of an official kickoff for the new brand right around their June 30 anniversary, so make sure to put that on your calendar and help them celebrate four years of great beer!
