Field of Drinks Debuts - Tickets Sold Out

Field of Drinks Beer Festival is the newest brewfest to hit the Springs area in some time. Unlike many of the ‘new’ fests that crop up with a more distributor-centric vibe that often finds Coors and other macro brands in the festival, Field of Drinks is conceived by local breweries for local breweries. With the assistance of the former All Colorado Beer Festival board, and the Fountain Up group in the City of Fountain, 18 local breweries are coming together for a day of great beer, food trucks, and fun.

Brewery Focused

Unfortunately, at the time of writing there are no tickets available for Field of Drinks, which will be held next weekend, Saturday, July 2nd at Metcalfe Park in Fountain, CO. Tickets are $35 with 30 dollars of that going directly to the participating breweries. Many of the local craft breweries were hit hard by the events of the past two years and this is a means for them to have a beer festival that directly benefits them. Most beer festivals are designed to benefit a particular charity and participating beverage partners (breweries, cideries, meaderies, etc.) are asked to donate their product and time to benefit said charity. While that is a noble cause any day, a festival to benefit breweries directly just makes sense as we’ve emerged from a couple rough years.

Take Something Home

One interesting holdover from the pandemic rules and an interesting benefit for this festival is the ability for patrons to purchase beer to-go from the participating breweries directly. This will work like a coat check. You’ll purchase your product that you want to take home after the festival and pick it up from the ‘beer check’ on your way out. No alcohol purchased in this manner may be consumed on site.

Go check this fest out and support your local breweries. Tickets are unfortunately sold out as of this weekend, but let us know what you think of this new festival if you managed to score tickets!

Tickets have now sold out. 21+ only, no children, strollers or pets allowed.
