Goat Patch Celebrates Two Years

A few weeks ago, Goat Patch celebrated their second birthday with an event that made them seem much older than their age.

It just goes to show what can be accomplished when you put a veteran staff behind a new brewery from the brewing side (Darren and Dylan) to Sales (Travis) to the Admin and Marketing side (Johannah and Averee). Goat Patch should be used as a case study for any new brewery hoping to “make it big” as they’ve accomplished so much in just a short amount of time.

While we were only there for a slice of the day, Goat Patch kept the taps pouring all day long!

For their second anniversary, Goat Patch put their additional space at the Lincoln Center to good use, with additional places to get beer, which helped cut down on lines. There was still a pretty hefty line at the specialty taps, but that was to be expected—those were the fun ones.

Dylan and Darren were constantly harassed by Ryan from Phantom. Just kidding, they were the gatekeepers for the beer. Photo courtesy Goat Patch Brewing.

We had the opportunity to taste the Pineapple Hazy Double IPA, Orange is the New Stout and Barrel-aged It Takes A Tribe Red ale, and each were interesting—yet balanced—beers. Goat Patch knows how to make a beer that sounds like it could go off the rails into a beer that is appealing to almost everyone in the room.

We are excited to see where Goat Patch goes from here. Cheers!
