Local Relic Turns Six

This upcoming weekend at the Carter Payne, you should definitely go help celebrate Local Relic Artisan Ales’ sixth anniversary. Contrary to most Anniversary parties, Local Relic is hosting their celebration over two days in “church carnival” style.

For beers, Grant Goodwiler and the team at Local Relic will be releasing six barrel-aged beers on tap as well as two rare bottle releases(TBA). Here’s what beers you can expect on tap:

  • Rye Barrel Aged Caraway Rye-wine

  • Bourbon Barrel-Aged Quintuple

  • Bourbon Barrel-Aged Belgian golden

  • Port Barrel-Aged Quad

  • Bourbon Barrel-Aged ‘Baby Ruby’ stout, made for Grant’s daughter

  • Batch #1000: Sauvignon Blanc Belgian Oeno

Outside of these special releases, you can expect more than just beer, thanks to Local Relic’s partners in the Carter Payne. They’ll have a patio bar serving specialty cocktails, wines, and adult snow cones.

While you’re there, you can try your hand at beer-nerd trivia, test your luck at various carnival games or just sit and relax listening to live music.

The festivities will run Friday from 3 pm - 9 pm and Saturday 10 am - 9 pm.

Hope to see you there!
