If you survived this weekend of Iron Bird Brewery opening up (to great success...more on that later) and the Space Foundation's Rocket in my Beer fest, then you may be prime for this week's awesome festivities. From birthday celebrations to beer releases and everything in between, this week keeps up the fast pace that much of the summer has had.

Test Tap Wednesday at Fieldhouse Brewing

This week, Travis and Niki are showcasing another small batch, with a Belgian Dubbel on tap! We thoroughly enjoyed the Cherry Wheat last week, so you'll be sure to see us poke our heads in there Wednesday evening for a taste. As always, the Global Grub Truck is preparing a special one-off culinary treat to pair with Fieldhouse's Test Tap. If you didn't have dinner plans Wednesday, you do now!

Thursday August 21

Not Beer Related, but bike related.

The USA Pro Challenge will be descending on Colorado Springs, so if you're heading downtown Thursday, keep in mind there will be a ton of road closures due to the racecourse using Tejon and Cascade. Head somewhere like Old Chicago at 118 N Tejon, and grab a beer to cheer on these world-class racers! More info here if you need it!

Bristol Brewing Company Scotch Ale Release

Who doesn't love scotch? Well Bristol Brewing is releasing their Scotch Ale this Thursday at 5pm in the Bristol Pub at Ivywild. With a strong sense of malty goodness and brown bread, Bristol's Scotch ale is sure to be a pleaser as summer heads to a close and we need something to keep us warm at night. Free pints to those wearing kilts (Aaron this one's for you!).

Buzzwordz Trivia at Great Storm
